Architectural Construction Documents
With over 40 years of experience in architecture along with feedback from past employers and clients I have developed a comprehensive understanding of what is required in preparing construction documents. I can assist architects with AutoCAD drafting from a single sheet of a project to the completion of the entire architectural construction documents.

Architectural Field Measures and LOD's
Nothing is more important than accuracy and quality. The initial challenge at the start of any project is to have all the correct information. Often times “as-builts” provided by landlord’s do not reflect the accurate condition of the existing building and or suite(s) and is not the best start to any project.
RDS will provide the highest quality architectural field measure, for an economical price and within an agreed upon time frame.
Architectural Field Surveys are tailored to provide information as requested, which can include the following:
When authorized to proceed with a field measure, and if requested by the client I can reach-out to the landlord to gain access to the building and or suite(s). If the existing space(s) is occupied, only the information the landlord has approved will be divulged to the tenant as discretion will be maintained.
All floor plans will delineate existing exterior walls and/or demising walls, including existing tenant build-out construction. The plan will also indicate all toilet room(s), electrical service locations and structural columns where applicable. Reflected ceiling plans will indicate suspended lay-in ceiling grids, gypsum board ceilings and approximate locations of light fixtures, mechanical diffusers and sprinkler heads.
Photographs are taken inside and outside of the space(s) of all relevant conditions. This will enable the client to better understand the existing space without having to visit the site. If requested additional photographs can be taken of the surrounding site for better clarity of the project.
When the project is completed, all documents and photos are uploaded to a sharing service (i.e. Drop Box) and will be made accessible to the client.
Schedules shall be contingent on the scope and complexity of the project along with the estimated site visits needed. Your projects schedule is always taken into consideration and I will make every effort to provide your field measure information as quickly as possible.
